Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of OnRamp, our new embeddable onboarding component designed to make creating and updating Leen connections easier. OnRamp integrates into your web application with just a few lines of code, streamlining the onboarding experience for your users.

How Will OnRamp Help Customers?

  1. No Need for Custom Forms: Customers no longer need to build forms to collect end-user credentials and interact with the Leen API to create or update connections. OnRamp handles this process seamlessly
  2. Easy Integration: By embedding OnRamp into their application and initializing it with a token, customers can create or update connections effortlessly. The OnRamp component manages the entire process, including handling errors
  3. Broad Connector Support: OnRamp can be used for any of the connectors supported by Leen, allowing customers to easily add more capabilities to their applications
  4. Native User Experience: Since OnRamp is embedded into the customer’s application, users enjoy a native experience without being redirected

Design Considerations for OnRamp

  1. Ease of Embedding:
    • Customers can download the package using npm install @leendev/onramp
    • The component can be added to their workflow within minutes
    • While currently supporting all React-based applications, we can also accommodate other JavaScript frameworks if needed
  2. Customizability:
    • OnRamp supports a level of white-labelling, allowing customers to replace Leen’s documentation with their own help articles
    • Customers can change Leen’s logo to their own and customize button colors to match their brand
  3. Schema-Driven Backend:
    • OnRamp is designed to be schema-driven, meaning when new connectors are added, there’s no need to update the frontend component
    • This ensures users won’t have to update their package every time a new connector is introduced, streamlining the onboarding process
